The included transfers, from the airport all the way to El Calafate, were wonderful. We also loved the included excursions, especially the Base hike and Full Paine, and the horseback ride was worth doing. The gauchos take great care of the well-trained horses. The guides were knowledgeable, kind, and very helpful, particularly Matias V. The manager, Paola, was just as kind. Hotel Las Torres is the closest place to start the hike to the base, and it also works well if you're beginning the W or O hikes. The all-inclusive package is the way to go: food and drinks were great, and the tours were well planned and gave us a full view of Torres del Paine. Rooms are simple, nice, and up to date. Everything about our stay was great.

The guides, drivers, and hotel staff were all lovely, and having packed lunches ready for our hiking days made life much easier. They were extremely tasty too. The all-inclusive stay also covered meals, activities, and transfers to and from the hotel. The team organized our hikes and handled the boat logistics that depend on which route you choose. You can't beat the location inside the National Park, right on the foot trails for the famous base tower hike. While other travellers have to commute to the trailhead, you can get an early start. The quaint hotel has good-sized rooms, with mountains, nature, and horses all around. My one wish is for a larger spa or an indoor pool or jacuzzi where all guests could relax. The options now are a paid sauna or a massage, and both need to be booked in advance because space is limited, with two massage rooms and one sauna. Otherwise, a wonderful stay. I'll keep recommending it.

The place itself is beautiful, the manager and bar staff were very nice, and the rooms looked lovely in the Instagram photos that made me dream of visiting. But at $1,300 USD per night, the service was really disappointing. Some staff came across as arrogant, and housekeeping wasn't great. Dinner was supposed to be included, but the restaurant was always fully booked, so we never got to eat there. The tourist information center caused the biggest problems. We got completely wrong information that spoiled part of our trip. We asked whether starting the Base de las Torres hike at 2:00 PM was okay since we had to work in the morning, or whether we should choose another route. They said it was fine, but the trail closes at 3:00 PM, a fact everyone working there apparently knows. A ranger stopped us and sent us back, so we saw nothing that day and had to return the next day to hike again. We also asked about pumas. They didn't tell us to watch out for them, even though they apparently appear almost every week, so read the safety protocols. When we asked, the information center said the warning was just a formality and there were no pumas. After we reported the trail closure, the employee just said, “Oh well… okay,” without apologizing. The sauna isn't included, there's no gym, and there's no proper lounge. We moved to another nearby hotel that was three times cheaper and had a sauna, gym, and great service. I wouldn't recommend this place.

The food was generally good, and we loved both breakfast and dinner, though by the fourth night we'd nearly run out of menu choices and wished dinner rotated more. The restaurant staff were awesome. What concerned us was the handling of a guest's nut allergy. Despite several reminders, we found nuts in food packed for excursions, and one menu item contained coconut without listing it. We spoke to the staff both times and were assured it wouldn't happen again. Nut allergies can be fatal and shouldn't be taken lightly. We stayed four nights at this gorgeous spot inside Torres del Paine National Park, close to the W trail at the base of a mountain. The hotel picked us up at the Argentina-Chile border, welcomed us with a refreshing Calafate Lemonade, and took us to the excursion desk as soon as we got our room key. All the activities we planned for the next few days were included. We met excellent guides and drivers who showed us around and shared detailed knowledge of the region, its ecology, and the park. Some even accompanied us back and forth during hikes. The rooms were a bit small, but the setting in an ecological reserve more than made up for that. We also tried the spa and horseback riding. Mariano at dinner, Josephina at the spa, guides Phillipe and Matiass, and the front desk team all went above and beyond. Highly recommend.

There are excursions for all sorts of interests and experience levels, and the staff treat you very well. The food is great and the rooms are spacious. This is a great lodge in the middle of the park, close to the famous trail to the three-peaks viewpoint.
