It's a short walk from the bus station, just over a block, and downtown is close by too. The place was clean and comfortable, and the staff were really helpful and kind.

Breakfast is self-serve, with everything set out early. The rooms are roomy and very modern, including the bathrooms, and there's private parking. Jeanette, Fernando, and Jesús were excellent, with great service. I had an excellent stay at Hotel Puerto de Vega and highly recommend it if you're passing through Vallenar.

From outside, I wondered what I'd booked, but once inside I saw how wrong that impression was. Everything was great, and the people were very friendly.

The breakfast buffet had options for all tastes, and the rooms were very clean. The hotel staff also gave first-class service. An excellent hotel.
