B&B La Nona

Rene and his family were brilliant hosts. The place felt welcoming, peaceful, and homely, and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. The rooms were comfortable and clean, breakfast was amazing, and the laundry service was a great bonus. Rene is great to talk with about the area or Chile in general. We also got a private lesson in making pisco sour, followed by drinking it. Runners can ask Rene whether LaNona run club is open.

We had a brilliant stay with Rene and his family. The hosts were incredibly warm and friendly, and helped arrange some really memorable activities. The location is perfect, breakfast is generous, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. If you want somewhere that feels like home away from home, this is it.

Our hosts shared so much about their town, with great suggestions for things to do, places to visit, and restaurants. Rene also made a delicious breakfast: fresh fruit, granola, homemade yoghurt and bread, eggs, and avocado. We had a wonderful time staying with Rene and Carolina. The en suite bedroom was spacious and lovely, spotlessly clean, and had a very comfortable bed. One of the nicest B&Bs I've stayed in. We'd love to return and would gladly recommend it.

The family were lovely, and René was such a caring, happy host. He was quick to respond on WhatsApp and really invested in making sure I knew where to go, including some top notch restaurant suggestions. He also arranged a great day riding in the sand dunes at Ritoque, near Viña del Mar, with one of his friends. The house is in a lovely part of town, Cerro Alegre, and close to everything you need. It's one of the best locations in Valparaiso, if not the best. My room was cosy, clean, and had a very comfortable bed. If you're staying in Valparaiso, I can't recommend René and Carolina's B&B enough.
