Winebox Valparaiso

The wine tasting made the stay especially worthwhile. We spent over four hours with the owner trying five distinctive wines, and I really recommend it. There was also a generous selection of wines in the room, which we enjoyed on the balcony while taking in the city view. It's a unique place to stay in Valparaiso and made our visit feel worth it.

The rooftop breakfast and bar were good, and staff were on hand to make eggs to order. The rooms have lovely views, and the hotel itself is very cool. Some staff weren't as strong in English, but they were still very helpful.

Our room had a private outdoor terrace with an incredible view of the city and sea, plus lots of space, a comfortable bed, an entire kitchen, and two couches. There was even a BBQ on the terrace, enough room to host local friends, and binoculars by the sliding glass door for looking down at the street art. The room was full of unusual decor and artwork, and no two rooms are alike. The hotel has recycled and upcycled materials everywhere, and we enjoyed reading its story, which was provided with board games and books. Breakfast was included, and we could have it on the rooftop deck or order it to the room through WhatsApp. It arrived hot. The staff were kind and helpful, and gave us great walking route suggestions for nearby street art and a delicious restaurant. We absolutely loved this unique, beautiful hotel and will definitely be back.

Winebox is such an eclectic, wine-themed hotel, with great views, lovely staff, and wonderful service. We loved staying here and highly recommend it.
