We had a great time over our three nights and would happily return. The atmosphere was good, the staff were fun and took good care of things, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great and the kitchen had what we needed, though the oven didn't work and there was a microwave. The market right outside the door had really cheap fruit, vegetables, nuts, and more.

The terrace was the best spot, and the homemade breakfast bread was lovely. Beds were comfortable, and even though the kitchen looked old, it had everything needed for cooking. The hostel has a great social vibe if you want to meet people. Bring earplugs, since the street market gets busy and noisy, though it also means fresh fruit and vegetables are just a minute away. Thanks to Burga and the volunteer team for making it what it is!

We meant to stay one night and ended up staying three because we loved the place. It has an amazing, very sociable atmosphere, thanks to the friendly, inclusive volunteers. The duvets were the best I've ever had, and there are big lockers and hot showers. The kitchen is okay, but the oven didn't work. Breakfast was disappointing and tiny. We also met a lovely Irish girl, though sorry, I've forgotten your name, it was about a month ago.

It's a sweet hostel that mostly has long-term travelers around 19 to 29. Being a block from the bus station makes trips easy, and the city center is a 20-minute walk away. The rooms are okay, and the only toilet I used, near the kitchen, was fine. A Turkish man owns it at the moment, while volunteer travelers do all the cleaning. Two street-facing rooms get very loud in the morning because the hostel sits right in the middle of a street market. Experienced travelers will probably like it, but I'm less sure about newbies. Breakfast includes homemade bread, tomatoes, oranges, bananas, apples, coffee, milk, and jam. There aren't enough lockers in the rooms.

The area doesn't feel very safe at night if you're traveling alone, and getting to the center means a bit of a walk. With friends, though, it's a great option. The hostel has large rooms, very comfortable beds, a good kitchen, and a great breakfast.
