We had a lot of ventilation in our attic room, so it cooled down quickly at night and we slept well. There were three opening windows, one in the bathroom, and almost 360-degree views. We loved the whole stay, including the location, the views, Paula's wonderful hospitality and breakfast, the comfortable bed, and the clean bathroom with an excellent shower.

The attic room stayed wonderfully cool for sleeping, and the breakfast was delicious. It was a very comfortable, quiet place, with probably the best shower we saw during our 12 days in Chile.

Paula made breakfast feel personal, asking when we wanted it and even making sure our vegan friend was catered for. The food was simple but good quality. We also loved the quiet spot, close to sights and restaurants, and the gorgeous, stylish yet homey historic interior. We felt at home here. If I owned a small inn, this would be my model.

We hosted an international wedding at New Voga Guesthouse, and I’m writing as both a guest and a host. Paula helped with every little detail, and she and her family worked hard to make the day everything we had hoped for and more. The guesthouse sits on Cerro Allegre, a beautiful, scenic hill overlooking Valparaíso. Its individually furnished, clean rooms have their own character, and the dreamy garden at the back even looks out toward the ocean.

Paula really goes out of her way to make guests feel welcome and will help wherever she can. New Voga Guesthouse is in an old, smaller building on Cerro Allegre, with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Inside, it’s beautiful, the rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, and there’s everything you need. Breakfast has a few choices, including avocado, fruit, yoghurt and cereal, plus bread and cheese.
