The dorms were bright, quiet, and roomy, with colorful views of the town through the windows. We had a good time with the staff, and breakfast was included. The only thing I found lacking was the number of bathrooms for all the guests. We came across this low-cost, understated hostel while doing our usual hostel hunt in Valparaiso. It's tucked along one of the many stairways on the city's cerros, and worked really well as a base for seeing the main sights. One more tip: the empeñadas down the road are delicious.

The common area is pretty small, and the WiFi kept cutting out. Rooms are nice and the kitchen is alright. It can be a bit of a party spot, with guests coming back to the hostel quite late.
