Room 4 was designed by a local artist, and the hotel is full of character, with artwork, appliques, and ceramic fixtures. The staff were kind, considerate, and very professional, and the manager was outstanding. It's centrally located, above plenty of shops and restaurants down the hill. Keep in mind that getting around means climbing several flights of concrete stairs if you have mobility issues. Valparaiso is vertical.

The attached parking area is spacious and a real find, especially if you're visiting Valparaíso by car. The staff were all welcoming and very friendly, which made it a good place to stay. My room felt a little old and worn, and mosquitoes flew around all night.

Each room feels like a gallery, with an artist's work made for that particular space, and the bed was comfortable. Cris was kind and thoughtful, and did a great job anticipating what we needed. There may be no perfect spot in Valparaiso, but this hilltop location worked really well for us, with beautiful views of the arroyo and the skyline on the next ridge. Plenty of good restaurants are an easy walk away.

The room was comfortable, with a breathtaking view, and the staff were incredibly nice. The bathroom, especially the shower, could have been cleaner, though it didn't make the stay any less perfect. The location is amazing, within walking distance of Valparaiso's best sightseeing spots. I'd highly recommend it.

The hotel has plenty of character, and the staff were very friendly. Just a heads-up: the steps from the road down to the entrance are really steep, especially with a heavy suitcase.
