I loved this distinctive hotel. It combines modern design with a sense of heritage, and feels like a welcome change from generic corporate places. The rooms are roomy, and some have great views. There’s no outdoor pool, worth knowing if that matters to you in midsummer. The included breakfast is generous, and the basement spa is a nice place to unwind. A reliable choice if you want somewhere individual but dependable.

We were so sad to leave. The photos don’t capture how special this hotel feels. The building is beautiful, the staff are all lovely, and the location in Valparaiso is just right. Every detail felt thoughtful, from the room and breakfast to the wonderful spa.

We slept really well here. The beds were comfortable, and with the windows shut we couldn't hear outside noise. The shower was amazing too, with a lovely view. The hotel has a peaceful feel, good rooms, and a pretty terrace overlooking the sea. The staff were welcoming and glad to suggest places to visit. Breakfast was fantastic, and we enjoyed a drink on the terrace late in the afternoon. A great place to stay.
