The welcome and service were superb, but I didn't sleep well. At 5 a.m. a drunk guy came in shouting and making noise. I know a hotel can't control every guest's behavior, but a great one would deal with something like that quickly and firmly so everyone else can rest.

The owner gave us a warm welcome and talked about the hotel's history and where it came from. Service was awesome, and the location and view were fantastic. Breakfast had a nice range of good food. There was plenty of tourist information at the desk if you needed ideas for what to do in Valapraíso. This has been my best hotel experience so far.

The staff were nice, but I didn't sleep at all. Outside, dogs barked, people talked, roosters crowed at 3 a.m., and cats fought. It was so bad and random, as if they took turns making noise all night. The windows didn't block sound at all.

The room had a great view and clean beds. It's an old-fashioned building, but it's kept clean. I was happy I'd picked the right place.

It's a great place to stay, right on top of the city in a great location. The owner was really helpful with things we'd forgotten.
