Cabañas La Villa Sueca

The cabins themselves are roomy and comfortable, but the Wi-Fi only works near the office, despite the listing saying it’s available. The pool looked cloudy, and although the manager said it was cleaned every day, I didn’t believe that. We chose not to stay. Getting my refund took nearly a day, and they deducted $15,000 after saying the charge would be $10,000 for our time in the cabin. The manager also gets aggressive when you complain about the service.

The cabins are large, spacious, and come with useful things like sheets, blankets, a kettle, and a Smart TV with cable. The staff of the place is somewhat old, and while there is Wi-Fi, the connection isn't great. My Movistar phone signal was weak too. We rented two cabins for two nights with my family, and I wouldn't choose to return. The pool was in bad shape, with green water, and there weren't any green areas. I don't blame them for the grass, though they could redo the garden in a way that uses energy more efficiently. It also wasn't ideal for looking at the stars. Light pollution from Vicuña reaches the area, and there are a lot of outdoor spotlights on the cabins and nearby properties.

It's a handy spot close to the center of Vicuña, with plenty of space and what you need for a comfortable stay. The beds could be more comfortable, and some less visible spots, like under the beds, needed cleaning. Apart from that, a really nice place.

Peaceful, pleasant surroundings, and a good chance to look at the stars.
