Comarca Recreo

It’s a cozy, warm place for a couple of days, in a nice area with lots of shops and bakeries nearby. The breakfast was great, and the hosts were really friendly and helpful with directions and tips.

Each apartment is separate, so the atmosphere is peaceful. It’s well equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom with a great view. Shops are nearby, and the train station is only a few blocks away, so getting around is easy. Great place!

We had a great week there recently, and my daughters and I all felt very comfortable. The apartment had everything we needed: bathrooms in excellent condition, lots of hot and cold water, a fully equipped kitchen, and a lovely view. It’s also very quiet. The town center is an easy walk if you enjoy walking, and there’s a bakery, butcher, restaurants, and more close by. Great value for the price. Many thanks to Pablo, one of the owners, for being so welcoming. We hope to come back soon.

The rooms were lovely inside, just like the photos, clean and well equipped. Some things were newer than others, but all were in good condition. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom had toilet paper, soap, shampoo, and other basics. Service was good, though average. The neighborhood is nice, but it’s a bit far from downtown Viña del Mar. Recreo bus and metro station is very close and gets you places quickly, though it looked shabby and unsafe at night and scared us. We were told nothing bad happens there. The terrace has a nice view, and I included a photo. The outside area wasn’t cleaned often, and I didn’t like seeing the owner’s belongings scattered around; that contrasted with how clean the rooms were. Still, my overall impression was positive.
