We had a good stay in general, but with six of us and two cars, one vehicle had to stay outside, where it could be stolen or damaged. The day guard was excellent and gave very good service. The night guard, an older gentleman, was badly mannered, unhelpful, and answered very aggressively. His violent language made me feel awful. It's a shame we had to leave the car outside. That's why I give it a 1.

Carolina, who looked after my room, was fabulous and very kind. But the price situation left me feeling disrespected, and I will NEVER stay here again. I've paid more than $4,000,000 for stays during my trips to Chile. I was in Chile from August 1st to August 20th at the GALA Hotel, which was very good. I always stayed in the suites at La Roca Blanca during my time in Chile. In August I decided to go to La Roca Blanca after receiving an email offer for September at 60,000 Chilean pesos. I went to the administration office in person and was quoted 55,000 Chilean pesos for September 5th to 23rd. Ms. Vilna Beovic, the Operations Manager, confirmed that price. I paid 570,000 pesos when I arrived on September 5th. Today, when I went to pay the balance, I was told the offer was 10 days at 60,000 pesos and the other 9 days at 55,000 pesos. That made no sense to me. Honestly, my experience was that you shouldn't trust anyone in Chile, especially when something is only said verbally. ALWAYS DEMAND THINGS IN WRITING. There are very deceitful and dishonest people. Fellow tourists and Chileans living abroad, be very careful with prices quoted out loud, and always ask for email confirmation. It's a peaceful place to stay near the center and casino in Viña del Mar, with a lovely ocean view. Just right if you're looking for somewhere quiet to rest.
