The location was good, but the service was very poor. I had to pay before going to my room, then the receptionist walked around the hotel looking for an available one while I was left carrying my luggage. She kept saying she thought there were rooms, and I eventually got my money refunded. The room she showed me was tiny, too expensive for the space, and the light didn’t work.

The place itself is nice, and the staff were friendly, though the handyman asked us for beer before he’d even check the water pressure. The rooms are in bad shape, with very old air conditioners and barely any water pressure. Breakfast was okay.

At TALOTEL, I spent four unbearable nights in room 200, August 6-11, 2023. Breakfast was cold day after day, and I strongly suspect the food was left overnight. It’s an old hotel right in the city, with no renovations that I could see. The toilet was very old and stank, and I went two days without running water. Parking is tiny, and the clientele was poor.

For Bafoussam, the price felt too high.

I love the customer service at Talotel Hotel. It offers a range of services, including a restaurant with different dishes, mostly African food, and a good selection of beer and wine. There’s also a large hall used for weddings, seminars, and other informal occasions. The parking area is spacious and has good security.
