Hotel Royal Palace

The pool was clean and a good size, and the staff were helpful. We ate at the Restaurant, and although it was a bit pricey, the delicious food felt worth the money. The hotel has been renovated and is clean and lovely. We couldn’t use the pool on Monday because it’s maintained that day.

The receptionists were exceptionally polite and professional, and they behaved well. Their dress code is consistently attractive.

The location and access could be a real asset, but the place feels like it hasn’t been renovated in a long time. The balconies are large, though so dirty they barely offer any relief. Inside, the rooms are below par, the bathtubs have rust, and the shower didn’t work. Even the lift was in bad shape, with a door that wouldn’t open all the way and had to be pushed by hand. The staff were indifferent and unwelcoming, and many were simply rude and didn’t seem to care about customer service. Shameful, really. It should be sold to someone who can manage it better or just torn down.

The meeting I had here was one of a kind, and I’ll definitely come back. The rooms and conference hall are good, customer service is perfect, and the location is great.
