It’s very large and easy to get to, with kind service. A grand old hotel, but it doesn’t seem to have enough business to keep everything in good order.

The quiet part of town is a big plus. The AC stayed on all night, and there’s hot water and a TV in the room if that’s your thing. At 25,000 CFA per night, those are about the only reasons I’d say it’s worth the price. The decor and facilities feel stuck in the late 70s or 80s, and nothing about the place is impressive, though it’s probably better than most, if not all, of the hotels in Ngaoundere. Bar and restaurant staff were very pleasant, a welcome change from the extremely unhelpful night receptionist. It could’ve been fine with little to complain about if it were cheaper and the night receptionist had even an ounce of hospitality.

The grounds have a garden and are clean overall. The reception and restaurant are spacious, as are the rooms, which have roomy balconies at the front. The place feels a bit shabby, though. Food is generally served buffet-style and is just about okay. Reception staff are cheerful and helpful. With not many good hotels in Ngoundere, this is one of the best options. The rooms are quite big for 28000 FCFA.

Nice food, humble service, and very...

It’s an okay hotel, but there’s nothing beyond a restaurant and bar. The furniture and bathroom facilities are very basic and outdated.
