Jouvence International Hôtel

The staff were mostly sweet and helpful, and the rooms were fairly big, with a walk-in closet and balcony. I also liked the food, especially the pork chops with alocco, fried plantains, and French fries. The view of the train going by was beautiful, and I still cherish it. But the reception had a big, wet stain, which set the tone. The showers open right onto the toilets, and drainage was a problem. There were mosquitoes in my room because cleaners hadn't shut the door properly, plus a cockroach in the shower. It could work as a budget hotel if you don't mind drainage issues, occasional water shortages, poor internet, and interruptions to the electricity.

The balcony view is nice, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and very good. Everyone was welcoming and helpful, and service was quick. The rates are economical, too. My room had plenty of facilities, including an illuminated mirror, hair dryer, safe, refrigerator, telephone, free Wi-Fi, TV, air conditioner, reading lights, writing desk and chair, sofa chair, wardrobe, and more. A decent hotel with good people and service.

The staff and other people working there were super nice. But the walls have bizarre paint, there were cockroaches everywhere, and there was no hot water from the taps. The AC, which was a fan, was extremely noisy, and the electricity was unstable.

I read that this hotel was good, even excellent, but my experience was very bad. The AC barely worked, the TV was poor and had fewer than 10 channels, and water was spilling everywhere in some of the toilets. I've got videos to prove it if anyone doesn't believe me.
