It's a lovely spot, but the service is slow and leaves a lot to be desired. I'd rather spend the same amount somewhere with better service.

Some people at the front desk are really nice, but others are rude, disrespectful, and have no sense of customer care. The rooms aren't great, and there's a drain smell that lingers in them. The internet is awful most of the time. The food is fair now, though it used to be terrible.

The hotel is getting better little by little. Wi-Fi and breakfast have both improved, and the fourth-floor rooms have been refurbished. The corridors still need better lighting.

The location is great, and the staff are nice. The rooms are clean and have TVs with some international channels, plus Wi-Fi, but the air conditioning in my room didn't work. The common areas could use improvement, and the bar is very bare-bones. It's not a bad hotel, but the word “palace” in the name gives the wrong impression. At 50 euros, it feels a bit expensive for what's offered.
