Beijing Dequan Hotel Tianshuiyuan Branch

Savorcup, the coffee shop next door, was a real highlight. Adam was so welcoming, and the coffee and chocolate chip cookies were among the best I’ve had. The hotel stay itself was pleasant too: my room was a good size, had the basics I needed, and was cleaned daily. Breakfast had a great range, and the front desk staff were helpful and welcoming. Transport was convenient, including getting to the airport. A few things could be better. My room had no window, just a patio, which won’t work for everyone. The washing machine seemed to use a high temperature that might damage clothes, so it wasn’t practical for regular laundry. Some breakfast dishes had no English labels. Guests smoking inside made the environment unpleasant and unhygienic, and noise from neighbouring rooms could be a problem at times.
