The breakfast buffet is basic and there’s no elevator, but the room was clean and good, and the place has a boutique-hotel feel. It’s near Wuhouci temple and Jinly ancient street, in a perfect spot in Chengdu. If you want somewhere central and basic, with an easy way to get a quick taste of Chengdu, this hostel is a great choice.

The room was right beside the lobby, with no soundproofing, and its only window looked into the lobby. Three mosquitos greeted me when I came in. I stayed in a twin with a public bath. The bed was extremely firm, the AC was fussy at best, and the outlets were badly placed around the room. All of that made for a very uncomfortable stay.

It's not five-star comfort, but the service was simple and very helpful. The location is really good, with a Tibetan market, a park, lots of restaurants, and old shops nearby.
