The rooms were cold and disgusting, and this place doesn't deserve its prestigious three-star rating. The washroom felt dark and cold, and the shower was covered in moss, hardly peaceful or relaxing. I also saw the house-cleaning lady wash her mop in the sink meant for cooking. It's quite cheap, but there are other options that may cost a bit more and hopefully offer better comfort. I absolutely wouldn't recommend staying here.
The rooms offer good value, and long-term stays are possible, with rents starting from 1700-6000 RMB. I stayed in a rented room, though, and didn't get the complimentary breakfast. If you're checking into the hotel, I don't think the facilities are very good.
It's cheap and nice enough for people visiting Canton Fair, though it could be better. I managed because I speak Chinese. English support is poor, even when a manager is on duty, so this isn't a good place if you only speak English.
On my very first night in China, the hotel cancelled my reservation, likely because our trip coincided with Canton Fair. They offered no other option and just sent us away.
The rooms are spacious, but the hotel seems short on room access cards.
