Ramada Encore by Wyndham Guangzhou Jiangnanxi

For just a few hundred RMB, you get good value with breakfast included. It suits budget travelers who want a bathtub alongside a separate shower. My room had a TV and projector screen that could connect to mobile phones, or be used with the TV box. There's free parking, and I think the hotel is in the city center with access to different forms of public transport. The front desk staff member who helped me was very friendly and helpful. I'd avoid it if you hate smoking, are sensitive or allergic to smoke, or can't sleep with a bit of noise, especially car horns from the street. I could smell cigarette smoke when the air conditioning was on, and staff smoked while on duty.

Luckin Coffee is right downstairs, and there are restaurants and a convenience store nearby that you can walk to. The hotel staff were helpful too. Just remember to show your breakfast voucher to the breakfast staff so they can record it.
