Willy Chan, the assistant manager, was professional and helpful. My husband is very sensitive to smells, and Willy did his best to address the issue. The apartment was clean and had a nice homey feel, so I’d recommend it for longer stays. The Lodgewood in Wan Chai is also in a perfect, convenient spot for everything.

The apartment has a decent, home-like feel, and the staff were nice, especially Alice and the male manager. Breakfast was good and light. The stay was pleasant overall, though the new Wi-Fi system was almost completely unstable for weeks, and the wooden floor tiles kept creaking due to poor workmanship. There’s no airport shuttle, so the advertisement is incorrect.

The location is the one thing going for this place. Renovations in the building were constant, noisy, and dusty. The first-floor gym was permanently closed without notice, and management simply took the space for its own use without any compensation. Cleaning was close to nonexistent: the dishes were always oily, and it seemed to take only ten minutes to clean a whole apartment. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Chinachem management is subpar and below market standard, as expected.

The room was roomy, and the location is great for both shopping and eating. But the place feels dated. The AC was broken for a week and wasn’t replaced, and the shower drained very slowly. Without the location, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Food places and a market are close by, and you can get pretty much everything nearby. The MTR and tram stops are right in front. The service was quick and convenient, and I had a nice stay.
