The central location was useful, but getting a cab to stop for loading or unloading was a headache because the road is fenced off and cars can’t pull over. Inside, the room felt nothing like the modern photos I booked from. It was dark, and the bed was so low it was practically on the floor and very uncomfortable. There was mold in the shower, and the air conditioner leaked. The walls were paper thin. There was a locked doorway between my room and the next one, and I could hear the neighbors talking and even rustling papers while packing. Housekeeping only changed towels. They wouldn’t make the bed unless I paid, even after I asked several times. It was bearable, but at that price I wouldn’t book again. This felt more like a motel or hostel than a hotel.

We spent four nights at Dash over NYE. We booked only a few weeks ahead, so our options were limited. The location in the middle of Sheung Wan was great, and the price was competitive for such a late booking. The room was small, the walls were thin, and the rooms looked modern but dated. Housekeeping was poor, with no change of bins or beds. It’s passable for a short budget stay, but there are plenty of other options. We wouldn’t stay again or recommend it.

The room was much smaller than advertised, with a “japanese style” mattress on the floor and a shower conjoined with the room. The bathrooms were disgusting, and service was largely unhelpful. I couldn’t even get a towel when I asked. A terrible place to stay, avoid at all costs.

They dealt with my request so quickly, and everyone was thoughtful and kind through the process. The customer service was prompt and professional, and it left a lasting impression. I had a great experience and would consider staying here again. Highly recommend.

We tried two separate rooms, and both had a very bright green security light that stayed on all night. Apparently all the rooms have one, and it can’t be switched off. It lit up the room and made it hard to sleep, so I wouldn’t recommend the property.
