Dorsett Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong

Everyone gave us such good service, from the shuttle driver to the concierge and others. They even offered chrysanthemum and ginger tea at the entrance, a thoughtful touch. The hotel interior is modern and clean, and buses and the MTR make it easy to reach. For this affordable price, it’s worth it, especially if you’re going to Disney.

We spent ten weeks travelling in Hong Kong and staying at Dorsett Tsuen Wan Hotel, and every department consistently put customers first. The housekeeping team kept our room immaculate and well stocked throughout that long visit, and we’re sincerely grateful. Kenny at the concierge desk, plus Marco, Joseph, and Mr. Lo (Mr. Lo), the shuttle driver, all deserve special thanks for their outstanding hospitality. We’d definitely recommend Dorsett Tsuen Wan Hotel to friends and relatives, whether they’re visiting briefly or staying longer. A big thank you to the whole team for looking after us so well.

The kids had a great time in the huge playroom, which had lots of themed sections. My child was already happy just in the front princess room and didn’t even need to explore the rest. The party room was bright, clean, and set up well for children, while still comfortable for parents. The set menu had a good variety and tasted great, though I think the presentation could be better. We held our Christmas party at Dorsett Tsuen Wan and were very happy with the experience. Booking through WhatsApp was easy, and the team was always available to answer questions, which made planning stress-free. Sofei and Vicky from KIDSZONE and everyone at Café Cola were welcoming, responsive, and lovely to work with. We’d consider booking there again, or just returning to Kidszone. Thanks for making the celebration memorable.

The hotel itself was decent, with clean rooms, and Tsuen Wan is fairly well connected. But we hadn’t expected the location to be so inconvenient. The nearest train station is a kilometer away up a bit of a hill, which was hard with luggage. The station entrance is across the highway, too, and at the footbridge we had to wait for an elevator behind a queue of around a dozen people. There’s almost nothing to do or eat right outside, so late-night outings aren’t convenient, even though Tsuen Wan itself is great. We stayed in February because the price was affordable. I’d look for somewhere more central next time, there are plenty of options.
