Eco Tree Hotel Causeway Bay

The rooms were comfortable and surprisingly spacious for the affordable price, and the staff were friendly and very supportive. I spent three nights here and had a great stay. It’s also easy to get around, with shops nearby and quick access to Central on Hong Kong Island, the MTR, buses, and trams. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Hong Kong.

A small room, but it had the basic things I needed, and the lobby felt calm and relaxing despite its size. The hotel sits between Fortress Hill and Tin Hau stations, with lots of places to eat nearby and a supermarket right across from the entrance. For a budget stay, the price and location make it a comfortable option within reach of the city's attractions.

The bed was comfy, and the room was small but clean enough, with air conditioning. Reception could have been more welcoming. The staff were pretty no-frills, and it didn't feel like a one-off. A little more willingness to accommodate guests would have made the stay better.

We usually travel with kids, so the quiet nights in this neighborhood are a plus, even with food and drink options close by. Victoria Park is about a five-minute walk away, a great spot to let overstimulated kids unwind. I visit HK a few times a year and always stay at Eco Tree. It’s easy to reach from both Fortress Hill and Tin Hau MTR stations, and the rooms are clean and a standard size for Hong Kong.
