Hotel Ease Mong Kok

The room is small, but I still had enough space to open 2-3 suitcases. I stayed in a Superior Room on the 18th floor, with a nice city view and no buildings blocking it. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean, and housekeeping did a great job each day. They also let us store our luggage after checkout, which was really helpful. It’s a convenient location, a short walk from Yau Ma Tei Station, close to lots of shopping areas, and the A21 bus goes directly to the airport. The price is reasonable too. The walls are quite thin, so you can hear the next room, and there’s no fridge or free drinking water. I had a good stay and would return on my next Hong Kong trip. I’d rate it 8/10.

The location is good, with plenty of small and large eateries nearby and an MTR station close by. But the rooms are extremely small and overpriced. This was my second Hong Kong visit in 2025, and of the four hotels I stayed at, this is the one I’d be least likely to recommend. Service was below average. They don’t provide coffee or tea sachets, which feels like a basic thing nowadays. Daily room cleaning was also below average, and even the beds and drinking glasses weren’t cleaned properly. Staff behaviour was okay, though they weren’t as welcoming as staff at other places in Hong Kong. Stay here only if you have no other options.

The train station and 7-11 are just below the building, which is really convenient. The room and toilet were both clean and tidy. I booked this place for solo travel. The room stayed too cold even with the air conditioning off. There didn’t seem to be a way to adjust the temperature or cooling mode, so I had to use the blanket. The floor felt sticky under bare feet, so I wore the provided slippers. It’s more like wall tile than carpet. There’s only a kettle and safe. No bidet, oven, or fridge. It’s an excellent stay overall if you don’t mind the missing fridge and oven or the cold room.

Sunlight coming through the window was a nice bonus, and there wasn’t any noise issue that I noticed. The room was spacious enough for us, and I especially liked that the shower and toilet were separate rather than crammed together. The location is the best part. There are some nice places to eat near the hotel.
