Tung Wo Guest House

I stayed with another person for seven nights and had allergies all over my body throughout the trip. The top bunk smelled awful on the first day, like grease, so I slept on the sofa instead. When I asked the host to change the sheets, they said it would cost extra. Cleanliness matters a lot to me, and I’ve stayed in all kinds of Hong Kong hotels, including cheaper ones. I’d strongly recommend comparing carefully and would not recommend this place. I booked through Airbnb and arrived that evening at the Huafeng Building in Jordan. It was a self-service room with a door code, and the atmosphere felt very nostalgic. Inside were bunk beds and a sofa that converted into a bed. The room looked much like the photos.

I’d pick this for the location and reasonable price. The interior is clean and kept up well, though the room felt a little cramped. A solid budget option.

The bites were so itchy I couldn’t sleep all night. I have lice, and the red marks took ages to fade.
