They sent helpful, detailed directions along with general tips for seeing the city, and the location was great. The room was small, as is common with Hong Kong rentals, but it felt modern and worked well. It’s near plenty of bars and Kowloon park, and close to the ferry start for trips to Hong Kong proper. I’d stay here again.

For under NT$2,000 a night in a Hong Kong area where space is so valuable, I thought it was good value. The room is small but has what you need, and for the price its size and functionality are hard to fault. There are full facilities downstairs, and it’s very close to the Tsim Sha Tsui East MTR entrance and Star Ferry Pier. If girls are worried about staying alone, I’d suggest choosing a hotel.

The room was clean, but I never saw any staff at all. My door code was left on a sticky note by the entrance. The neighborhood has lots of bars and restaurants, which is convenient, but it’s noisy in the evening. Even on the 22nd floor, sound carries through the surrounding high-rise buildings.

This is a hostel, not a hotel. The rooms were noisy all night, and the shower was dirty. You had to turn on the hot water 20 minutes before using it. There was nobody on site, just phone support.
