Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong

I’ve stayed with Mandarin Oriental Hotels in different parts of Asia before, so it was my choice for Hong Kong as well. I’d planned a surprise weekend for our first anniversary, but my partner couldn’t come because of a change in his work. I stayed alone, and they still celebrated the occasion with gifts that I enjoyed. It turned into a very pleasant, memorable stay and my first Hong Kong trip was unforgettable. Everyone was kind and hospitable. The housekeeping staff were especially responsive and helped me with a few small problems. Special thanks to Mr Kevin Lau for his attention. I’d definitely recommend the hotel and stay here again. I’m grateful to everyone who made my anniversary so special.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and housekeeping kept it exceptionally clean and well stocked. We also appreciated the lovely turndown service. Daniel at reception made the stay feel personal by taking time to learn about us and our plans. The Mandarin club was a relaxing space, with a nice, quiet breakfast and a fantastic afternoon tea that we really enjoyed. Alyssa was especially warm and welcoming, and made sure we were looked after. The Mandarin club staff, particularly Vangie and Arcmond, worked tirelessly all day to make our stay enjoyable. They took the time to get to know us, which we appreciated. From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel very welcome.

My birthday at Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong felt like the best one ever. I was so happy and spoiled by the care I received, and the hotel has set an unparalleled standard for hospitality. I’ll definitely be back. The welcome was warm, smooth, and attentive from the moment I arrived. The team surprised me with a beautiful cake, balloons, and sparkling tea while I enjoyed the fantastic view from my room. The next day, they’d prepared luxurious bath amenities and rose petals for a relaxing evening. Breakfast had a wonderful buffet selection, and dinner at the Krug Room was extravagant and delicious. Every interaction felt polished, caring, and attentive.

Housekeeping really went above and beyond, with amazing attention to detail. The service was so good that I have to give the place 10 out of 10. The room itself was nice, though a little dated. I also enjoyed the clipper restaurant and oriental mandarin club, and my 5 year old loved it too.
