Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel & Towers

The Harbour View Room with a king-size bed gave me a view I'll remember. I arrived in the evening to see all of Victoria Harbour glowing with neon lights, spectacular. I absolutely loved it. The bed was very comfortable, and the price felt fair for Hong Kong. The location was perfect too. The room was small, especially the bathroom, with almost nowhere to put toiletries beside the sink. I didn't have breakfast, since there were so many great cha chaan tengs around the corner, so I can't comment on it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We'd read that the rooms had universal outlets, but they didn't, and we hadn't brought socket adapters. The staff kindly lent us adapters for the whole stay. After checkout we had a few hours before leaving, and when I asked where we could change, they gave us a voucher for the spa and health area so we could change and shower. That was incredibly thoughtful and much appreciated. The one area that could be better was English communication. At times it took real focus to understand what staff were saying, and they had trouble understanding us too. Everything else was great, and I would recommend the hotel to everyone. I'm taking off one star only because the room and bathroom were small, though I understand that with Hong Kong's real estate prices.

The rooftop restaurant's view of Victoria Harbour was awesome, and we enjoyed sitting there for the light and sound show. We got complimentary snacks and two mocktails, which were good, but the snack dishes were the same each day. They should change up the food menu. The Sheraton was really luxurious, with spacious rooms and helpful staff. Best of all, the location was excellent: we could walk to Victoria Harbour and the museums, and the metro connection was good too. We enjoyed our stay. It was the best place to stay in Hong Kong.

Everything we needed was close by, including shopping centers, restaurants, and supermarkets, and the location was very convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Staff were friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. A wonderful stay with no regrets. Highly recommended, and I'd definitely stay again!

The shower door was the one drawback. It covered only half the opening and swung out, so it didn't do a very good job of keeping water from splashing outside. We stayed for 3 nights just before Christmas and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The hotel is near the harbor, within walking distance of many places, and the rooftop bar has an excellent harbor view. I'd choose it again if I return to Hong Kong. Across the street is The Peninsula hotel, which someone told us is very high end. We didn't go in, but could see high-end stores like Chanel on its first floor from across the street. We should have looked into the Christmas Eve road closures more. Many roads were blocked, and walking to a restaurant on the next block took us 30 minutes because we had to go around the closures.
