Twenty One Whitfield

My family and I had a lovely stay over the Christmas season. The room was clean and tidy, and the front desk ladies were very helpful. They patiently explained the way to nearby restaurants and helped us get the internet service set up. They speak Mandarin very well. Thank you Ms Suki and her colleagues.

The room was quite spacious for two, bright with good sunlight, and had a fridge, cooking utensils, and induction cooktop. I liked the big bathroom window, and there was a partial harbor view. The downside in winter was that it was cold: the heater didn’t work and the blanket was too thin. You can see straight into the neighboring building, and the room door uses a key that’s hard to lock and unlock. The elevator was slow, reception barely greeted us, and there was no bottled water, so we had to get it from the water fountain on the 5f. Some Chinese guests were loud. For getting around, markets, a bank, CVS, Fortress Hill and North Point MTR stations, and a tram stop were all within walking distance, along with plenty of foot massage shops and restaurants. The airport was 30 minutes away, and a 5X bus stop was right outside the hotel.

Miss Chow welcomed us warmly at check-in and did her best to meet our requests and needs. Thanks to her and the hotel staff, our stay was comfortable and pleasant. The hotel was clean, with plenty of food options and the MTR within walking distance, so we’d recommend staying here.

I booked online without requesting a bathtub, but the staff were so polite and arranged a room with one for us. It also had a beautiful view. We’d like to come back next time.
