The location was the best part, and the WiFi signal was good. On our first trip to HK, we were happy to meet Mr David. The room and bathroom were really tiny, and you had to wait a few minutes for the heater to warm the water. It was okay for the price, especially since we were out most of the time and didn’t need a good hotel. Definitely budget friendly.

It’s cheap and in a good location, but the neighborhood felt sketchy. Some rooms had no hot water, the towels were stained, and the corridor smelled smoky. There’s no ventilation in the rooms, so they’re really stuffy, and sometimes I could smell food being cooked on the floors below.

The price was affordable and the location very central. Staff were decently polite, and cleaning happened every so often. But the towels and sheets were stained, and dust came through the ventilation. The area felt sketchy, the neighbors were LOUD, and the hostel did nothing about it. A maid also knocked on my door at 9am and was cleaning the other rooms very loudly. Showers are limited to 30 minutes a day per room.

The room felt clean and safe compared with many places, though the AC and water were rough. They charged $800HKD for Saturday, saying it was because of a local event, but nobody I asked seemed to know about one.
