A good choice for a longer stay in Hongkong. The hotel is a long way from the MTR, but it runs a convenient shuttle to the nearest station. Getting to Shenzen is fairly straightforward too.

A quiet part of the city, right beside a beach, with rooms offering either sea or mountain views. The shuttle to Tsuen Wan MTR station runs every 15 minutes, which is quite convenient.

This doesn’t feel like a 4-star hotel at all. The plug points didn’t work, the carpets were filthy, and there weren’t even toiletries. We tried using the only USB C port to charge our phones, but the guy who came to check it said newer phones weren’t compatible. What kind of hotel is that? They don’t provide adapters either. I would not recommend it, it’s worse than a 2-star hotel.

I’d stayed here twice before, but after checking in last night I found the room smelled strongly of cigarettes, and it still does. The smell seems to come from the ventilation vent. It’s supposed to be a non-smoking hotel, yet people are smoking in their rooms and the hotel is doing nothing to stop it. I’m very disappointed and angry.

The view is great, and it’s well set up for a long stay. The large gym is clean, with working equipment and cleaning supplies available. For a daily workout, there are also a pool, sauna, steam rooms, and cold/hot plunge pools. The sauna, steam room, and plunge pools are separated by gender. Shuttle service is available from Tsuen Muen Station.
