Canadian Hostel

My sister and I had a wonderful stay and came away with memories we’ll treasure. The room was spotless, tidy, and comfortable, and we felt safe in the building, which was full of other foreign guests. The location was handy for nearby tourist spots, and the price was lower than other hotels. We’re grateful to the warm, friendly staff who were kind and supportive with all our requests. We had an amazing time.

The receptionist was really accommodating, and the hotel had good ventilation. It’s in a nice spot with easy access to nearby tourist attractions.

Getting up to the 15th floor took nearly an hour because of the long lift queue. The hotel is near Tshim sha sui MTR station, but the location itself was awful. We booked a double room for two through agoda based on the photos, and what we found was shocking: the room was so tiny that the bathroom seemed much bigger. In the bathroom, there was barely room to stand, yet the owner acted as though two people could shower and use it comfortably. When we raised the issue, he refused to discuss it and said we were lucky to get that room, as if it were a suite. The owner was rude and offensive throughout. When we asked for a refund, he flatly refused and said we had never checked in, calling it a no-show. There’s another problem if you arrive late. They don’t let guests check in after 10 pm, and you get no refund. The owner’s attitude made me wonder why I’d booked there at all. I’ve traveled to many countries and stayed in much better hotels; this was my worst experience. After traveling so far hoping for a decent place, there wasn’t much I could do. I’d look elsewhere, perhaps around Wan chai, and avoid booking here if you don’t want to lose your money.

It’s close to all the tourist spots, and it’s a good place to stay in hongkong. I’d come back.
