LEO Inn Hong Kong

The cigarette smell and an unexplained loud noise coming from the ceiling kept me awake all night. I tried to get help from the host but couldn't reach him. I sent a video of the noise and asked for a refund; he didn't reply until the next morning, when he pointed to Trip.com's no-refund policy. My request was because of a problem with the accommodation, not a change of mind, but it was still denied. There was plenty of other noise too, including the outdoor unit outside my window and the TV in the next room. If noise bothers you, this isn't a place to stay. Of all the accommodations I've tried, this was the worst. I regret choosing it, and the sleepless night ruined my trip.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable, with a small water heater and kettle, which felt typical for Hong Kong and suited the price. Getting around was easy, and the shopping areas were close. The owner was incredibly kind and messaged me through the whole process, taking care of the booking and sending detailed directions and information. Thanks so much to the hotel owner. I'll definitely use their services again when I return to Hong Kong.
