For what I paid, I was okay with what I got. I wanted a cheaper budget hotel, so I didn't expect too much. Mr Peter was a great owner, always smiling at me and very accommodating. If you're a solo traveler trying to watch your money and want good value, I'd recommend staying here. If you're after an expensive hotel, this isn't for you. I hope Mr Peter reads this. It's me from room 35, at the front door, for three days from Nov 7 until 10. It was so nice meeting you, Mr Peter. I'll choose your hotel again when I travel.

BEWARE! Agoda's price already included taxes, but the hotel charged me an EXTRA 20% tax at check-in. This hostel doesn't deserve any stars, and it should be removed from booking app listings. Do yourself a favor and find another place to avoid this horrible experience.

The location is handy for food, the train, museums, and malls, and the price isn't bad. The front desk staff are friendly, too. But the room has no window, so it gets damp and the towels won't dry; there was black mold in the toilet. The AC was broken, though I didn't bother telling reception since it's in another block. Luckily, there was a fan and some cold air coming from somewhere. The room is very small. The old heater only works for about 10 minutes and is available just 9am-12pm and 9pm-12mn, so getting out before 9am means facing really cold water unless you're a yeti.

The location's the only good part. Everything else was horrible. I was traveling around Asia for 4 months, and this was easily my worst experience. Pay a little more and stay somewhere else.
