Uncle was so accommodating, and both the service and location were great. Weekends were less pleasant, though, because cigarette smoke was all through the elevator hallway and could drift into the room.

Mr. Yu at reception was kind and welcoming. The room itself was clean, had fresh towels every day, a working hair dryer, no bad smell, and clean sheets. The bed was hard but fine, since we only needed somewhere to sleep. The bathroom was tiny, but it did what we needed. The hallway, lobby, and elevator weren’t clean, though, so don’t expect those areas to be tidy. For the price and location, I’d call it a steal. We were on the 11th floor, less than a five-minute walk from the MTR, with the ladies night market right across the street. It isn’t a hotel, but it’s a good place to stay and sleep, and the location is 💯💯💯.

We ran into a booking problem: there were two of us, but only one single bed had been arranged. The owner moved us to another room at no extra cost and helped us with directions. I also lost my deposit card, but he still returned my deposit. He’s a very good person, and I’d highly recommend this place if you want a lower price and a good location. The room and bathroom are very small, but the bed was comfortable and we had a nice stay. The room was neat, the owner friendly, and there were four pairs of chappals, a coffee maker, and a clothesline in the bathroom. There’s a keypad code as well as a key for entering the room, which felt secure, though it’s less straightforward than using one card like at other hotels. It’s a prime spot with lots of restaurants around and Ladies market very close. A good option if you’re looking for a reasonably priced stay.
