Among the budget rooms I’ve tried in Hong Kong, Wing Wah is one of the better ones. The location is very good, and the staff were nice and competent, with fluent English. The room was small, as budget rooms here usually are, but it was clean, well maintained, and had a great view. The AC worked well and the mattress was comfortable. I highly recommend it.

The owner was really nice and even accompanied us though we booked at the last minute, almost at midnight. The room was clean and had a towel, but there was no mirror, which was a downside. A little expensive.

We stayed on the roof, which was a cool experience, and the room was clean with no problems. Benton was very nice and helpful. HostelWorld didn’t give me an option to leave a review, so I’m doing it here.

For the cost, it was a decent hostel. I paid $800 for one night. The staff weren’t nice, though that seems to be the case with everyone in Hong Kong.

We rented three rooms on the 4th floor, and none of the three of us had any complaints. The room was absolutely fine for us, and the place was great, right in the middle of mongkok. We’ll probably stay there next year.
