The location really was amazing. We didn't expect much for the price, but the stay was still unpleasant. We booked a room with a window and a double bed because the window mattered to us, but were given a small windowless room that looked more like a broom cupboard. The lady said there were no other rooms and we could take it or leave, so we stayed. The bedding and towels were dirty, the towels had holes, there was dust everywhere and holes in the walls. The walls were so thin we heard neighbors talking, their alarms, and their showers. There was nobody from staff around, so we were on our own with questions or problems. One evening, someone mistakenly locked the corridor door from inside. The right code didn't get us in. We messaged the “staff” on WhatsApp and, hours later, got a reply telling us to push harder or use the right code 😂 Don't book just based on the photos and description. If you're after a cheap, dirty, run-down, slightly claustrophobic place in a great location, it may suit you. We only came back to sleep at night, and after a few days we got used to it and it was quite okay.
