The Nap Mong Kok

The bathroom was awful, and the room was filthy with a smell like a tomb. The Agoda photos bore no resemblance to the real place. I walked in and immediately booked another hotel. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

We only wanted a bed and a shower, but the regular family room was far worse than we expected. The pictures on the website didn't match, and there were cockroaches in the hotel. We saw at least a couple in our room every day. The air conditioner was broken, one light didn't work, the TV wouldn't turn on, and the washroom smelled terrible. When we asked for service, they replied quickly but said little could be done. They had a portable AC, though it was noisy and weak. A staff member said the bad smell came from the wastewater channel and sprayed air freshener in the washroom. That helped for about 15 minutes. The smell seemed to spread into the living room too, so we suspected there was another wastewater channel in the room. We ended up buying our own air freshener and spraying the washroom before each use. We also met other guests with problems. One asked me for help because their AC was blowing hot air instead of cooling. There are good reviews, but most seemed to be about the capsule rooms, not the regular ones. I wouldn't recommend this place. If quick naps at the McDonald's next door are enough for you, you could save your money.

Being close to the train station and bus stop was genuinely convenient, and the price was affordable. But my group stayed four days without the room being cleaned or the bed linen or towels changed. The room was old and unsettling, with a cramped bathroom and a water heater that didn't work. I saw cockroaches on the bed every day. Cigarette smoke smell was strong from the hallway through to the elevator. If you book a single room, you'll be put on a different floor from the capsule rooms. Check-in details have to come through WhatsApp, which can be difficult to access outside business hours. Maybe it's fine if you only need somewhere to sleep and plan to spend the rest of your time out. For me, once was enough.

The location is really nice, but the room had small cockroaches and the bathroom was cramped, with a sewer smell coming from the drain. Getting checked in was complicated, and the hallway to the flat smelled of cigarettes. The booking site listed a kettle, but there wasn't one.
