Be careful, this felt like a scam. I booked on booking a month and a half before my trip, and when I arrived, some of the pictures had changed. The area is very touristy, with people on the street asking if you want drugs. I accepted that, but the place was even worse than expected. It was hard to find, so I had to call. The person at reception was the most expressionless person I've ever met. He barely said hello and just kept doing what he was doing, without asking me to wait a minute. He couldn't find my booking reference at first. When he did, he said we'd get a room but have to change the next day. That was disappointing, but okay. The first room was awful, like a rat cage, and I love rats. We didn't have a key to lock it because the last client kept it for Disneyland. We refused that room, and they gave us a better one they apparently keep for complaints. The next day, I went to reception with all our luggage to ask for the new room. He said we had to stay one more night in the first one because the other guests had extended their stay. I refused, and they let us keep the better room for the rest of the trip. It had almost no toilet paper and only a very short supply of hot water. One day, the laundry machine had disappeared without warning because they needed it, so we had to go out to do laundry. We ended up with something "okay," but the service was the worst I've ever had. The only nice person was the younger guy who showed us the room. The receptionist should be fired quickly. Please run away. Just come here to try the Pakistan restaurant in the same building!

The stay was pleasant, and the staff were friendly. The price was average for the location. In our two-person room, the bathroom had a clear glass window with no privacy, so at least some curtains would be better.

The photos are completely different, and they didn't mention there was no window. I booked a double room but got a single, and there was no TV even though one was supposed to be included. I found lots of cockroaches in my bed too. I'm furious and definitely won't come back. This is definitely a scam!!!

We stayed on the 2nd floor, and I'd highly recommend this hotel for a mom, her kids, or a friend. The staff are really friendly and look after you, so you feel at home from the very first day. I'll definitely come back and choose toronto hotel.
