The location is hard to beat, the price is good, and the staff were kind. Still, I wouldn't stay here again, or in a Hong Kong guest house. I'd rather pay for a mid-range hotel. On the first night my room had mold and I had a bad allergic reaction. I asked the staff in the morning for a refund so I could move to a hotel, but they transferred me to another room and persuaded me to stay. That room had no mold, but it did have roaches. I asked about spray after seeing the first one, and staff sprayed while I was out. The next day, my last night, I saw another. Maybe the spray brought them out, I don't know. If moldy, dirty rooms with bugs don't bother you, the location really is excellent. They were the main problem for me.

The mattress sloped, the pillow felt like a rock, and there were stains on the sheets. The air conditioner shown in the picture was only about 30 cm from my pillow, and the noise made it feel like sleeping out on the street. They also tried to rip me off over Disney tickets. So many things were wrong. Don't stay here, spend a bit more somewhere you can actually rest.

In Tsim Sha Tsui, right in the middle of the market area, this guesthouse is reasonably priced, neat and clean. The location feels good, and I also felt very safe there.

There are about three or four outlets in the room, and free hot and cold drinking water is available. I think the blue water may be Nestle, though I'm not sure. Our two single beds were comfortable and had enough space, and the bathroom was roomy enough to turn around in. Towels, soap, shampoo and hangers were supplied at no charge. It's very close to Thimsha Tsui train station. From exit A2, go past City Bank to the entrance of the smallish building, then take the elevator to the fifth floor to check in. The window faces the road, so you hear constant traffic, but I could tolerate it. For an inexpensive guesthouse with a private room and its own bathroom, I'd recommend it. Stayed 9-11 Jan 2017.
