The main street out front had plenty of restaurants and seafood places serving Hainan favorites like Wenchang chicken, Jiaji duck, Dongshan goat, and Hele crab. I spent two days at the Shell Hotel while cycling around Hainan Island. The front desk was quick and provided excellent service, and the beef hot pot restaurant next door had a discount deal with the hotel.
