Country Inn & Suites by Radisson

The hotel is close to a shopping centre, restaurants, and a lively night food market. Its modern, attractive renovation and interior design made a good impression, as did the clean, flawless smart toilet and features like curtains that open and close automatically and robot delivery. Room service quickly brought whatever assistance we needed. The free laundry and drying service runs 24 hours, which is convenient for travellers, and the detergent is managed for you so there’s no need to refill it yourself. We also appreciated the supper of porridge and fruit, available until 11pm. We could bring outside food to eat comfortably in the restaurant and borrow cutlery. The restaurant housekeeper was very friendly and helpful with clearing the table. We were very impressed by Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Hotel (Shenyang Zhongjie Gugong Dayuecheng), No. 17 East Shuncheng Street, Dadong District, Shenyang, Liaoning, China.

The room was uncomfortably hot because the hotel didn’t have air conditioning available in the rooms. Staff said they couldn’t switch it on for one room because that would turn it on for all of them. I wish this had been made clear before booking; I wouldn’t have chosen the place. I’ve stayed at many other hotels in China and they all had air conditioning. Traffic from the main road was audible, and the windows were difficult to shut properly and seemed a bit broken. The shower was small, and I kept knocking the handle that turns on the water, which changed it to a very hot temperature. Gaps around the shower door also let water into the bathroom.

There were welcome drinks and tea available in the lobby all the time. The front desk was vigilant, and the rooms were nice and clean. A good hotel.

The breakfast selection was limited, but the staff were kind and helpful. The hotel is in a very good spot, fairly close to the airport, with a shopping mall just a few minutes’ walk away. Free shuttles run to the airport and Disneyland.
