The snow world is a nice outing for families with kids, and Dishui Lake nearby is lovely for a walk. The room and the service were both very nice.

The dining choices had plenty of variety and the food was delicious. I found the location convenient for nearby attractions and transport, and the staff were warm, professional and ready to help. My room was spacious, clean and beautifully designed, with a relaxing feel after a busy day. Crowne Plaza Shanghai Snow World, an IHG Hotel, offers modern comfort and was a great stay, whether you're there for work or leisure.

It's a very new hotel, right beside the indoor ski park. I especially liked the theme, which shows up in lots of little details.

Snow word was amazing, and they provided cold-weather clothes, though there were no infant sizes. Some rides were under maintenance while we were there. Be sure to stay until closing, when there is a kiddie dance with the mascot and some giveaways. The site is divided between snow world and some kind of water park, and buying tickets can be a hassle. We had to try three times. Communication in English is very poor, so have a translator app ready. It's quite a ride by e-hailing from Marriott Bonvoy, where we were staying, and there don't seem to be many hotels nearby.
