For around $50 a night, I got a standard room with what I believe was a king-sized bed. They take foreign guests, unlike some inns, and check-in is available around the clock. McDonalds and Da Shi Jie (Big World) subway station are about a five-minute walk away. From there, it’s one stop to People's Square station. A good affordable option in Shanghai.
