Maggie at the front desk made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived. She was professional, incredibly helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was right. The hotel was clean and comfortable too. I had a fantastic stay at Holiday Inn Shanghai, highly recommended for anyone visiting Shanghai!
10/10
The buffet breakfast was spot on each morning, and I was glad to have western coffee from the machines. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A couple of people spoke better English than at many other places we stayed, but a good translation app works fine. We got complimentary bottled water in the room every day, and the shops and other utilities are within walking distance. There are also a couple of really good massage and hair salons nearby, plus a great fruit shop you can find through WeChat. The hotel was very luxurious and clean. They were updating the front gardens while we were there, but everything still looked neat and tidy. It’s not far from the Airport, though there was lots of traffic when we left, so allow enough time to get there. Highly recommend staying here.

The rooms were really nice. I can’t remember her name, but I think it was Maggie? She was the best, very friendly and helpful during check-in and when she helped us locate our packages.
10/10
Staff were polite and very helpful when they assisted me with transportation. I picked this hotel because it was near our office. The hotel itself was okay, with a good-sized room and a good breakfast selection. I stayed just one night, so didn’t get to explore the area much.
8/10
Our guests had communication difficulties because the reception staff spoke limited English and smiled infrequently.
