The lobby and breakfast space are pleasant, and the food was a great way to start the day. There’s a metro station nearby and a grocery store next door. We had a booking mistake, but the staff were understanding and managed to let us stay an extra night. They’re incredibly friendly and helpful. Brilliant hotel for a Shanghai stay, with great quality. I’d definitely recommend it.

We were happy with the stay. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the welcome fruit was a nice surprise. The bathroom wasn’t very practical. Xujiahui commercial center, with its shopping malls, and subway lines 1, 9 and 11 are accessible, though the walk takes quite a while. There are a few restaurants and mini markets nearby.

The rooms seemed fine, though the bathrooms were somewhat impractical. What really let the stay down was check-in: there was apparently an issue with the booking, and at 2 in the morning we spent 45 minutes discussing it at reception instead of being given our room. That’s poor service in that situation.

This place felt like a seedy motel, and it wasn’t clean or as described. There was hardly any gym, and it wasn’t cheap.
