The room was clean and had the basics, including a kettle, toiletries, slippers, and air conditioning. As a solo guy, I had no real need for a family room or a Disney themed hotel, but I booked one anyway and had a great stay. What earned the five stars was the service. The hotel's driver came to find me at Pudong airport when I was wandering around lost, and someone carried my bag all the way to my room. A receptionist also gave me a ride to the subway after I admitted I had no idea how to catch the bus. None of that cost me extra beyond the already small room price. It's not close to Shanghai itself, but it suits a Disneyland trip or a stopover before the next part of a journey.

We stayed here five years ago and had a great experience. There wasn't much around, and it's a long way out, but the price and airport convenience made it a nice choice. 👍🏽

We were here for a four-day, three-night Shanghai trip, and the hotel was a good fit. It's near Disney, and the fares were reasonable: 50 yuan by taxi from the international airport and 35 yuan to Shanghai Disneyland, less than 1,500 yen for a Japanese traveler. The neighborhood is mostly rice fields with little to see, but a supermarket next door stays open at night. Nearby stalls had a lively feel and lots of inexpensive, tasty food. I grabbed a drink from the supermarket and dinner at a stall, and was full for about 30 yuan, lol. Walking back at night could feel a little scary. The room only had the essentials, a bed and shower, but that was fine. The bed was clean, and the air conditioning kept working through the summer, which was a relief, lol. The receptionist didn't speak Japanese, but used Google Translate skillfully and was friendly, so checking in was easy. The hotel was very affordable.

The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and the hotel quiet. There were plenty of cheap, good dinner options nearby, and the area has a bit of the feel of China from 10 years ago. Getting anywhere is the downside. It's far from everything, especially the subway, which takes at least a 20-minute taxi ride. The staff don't speak English, and the advertised free airport shuttle was misleading. We were told to arrange our own taxi.
